it was the copper bowl and it's played in phoenix, arizona

Ir was initially the Copper Bowl, and was played in Tuscon through 1999.

1997-1999 Insight.com Bowl in Tuscon
2000-2001 Insight.com Bowl in Pheonix
2002-current Insight Bowl in Phoenix

The original name was the Copper Bowl and it was played in Tucson, AZ. Previously it has been held in Phoenix at Bank One Ballpark. This is the first year that it will be played in Tempe.
