I own a Dell E1505, owned less than a year, I turn on the computer, but it will not boot, stalls with a screen message PD2...Done. Not exacly computer literate, so please use easy to understand answers if you can help.

PD2 is a flash drive.

I assume you have one plugged into a USB port on the laptop.

The Laptop is attempting to 'boot' from the Flash Drive (instead of it's internal hard disk) and since Windows is NOT on the flash drive it just says 'Done'.

Unplug the flash drive & all should be well.
