I would like to get away from Xmas altogether and go for a holiday somewhere they do not have it. However countries like Afghanistan are probably not safe to travel to. What country is both safe and completly Xmas-free.

Actually I have celebrated Christmas in Afghanistan and it wasn't bad but I wouldn't recommend going there for a holiday. Close by though is Dubai which is of course Muslim, very safe and very fun. Because it is so Westernized you will still see some Christmas decor in the hotels and shopping malls but not like in Europe and North America. The weather is great in December and the beaches are beautiful.

Christmas is no longer just a religious holiday. It is celebrated in almost every country with a reasonable amount of freedom.

If you do not wish to celebrate Christmas, go camping in the country or on a road trip.

Just stay at home and do not put on the TV you would never know it was Xmas then. Just like all the poor people who have no home and no hope.
