no. Your cervix is very tight. in fact the pain you feel in childbirth is because the cervix is opening up. It only has a very small opening that blood can come out of during your menstruation period.
It's still not a good idea to leave a tampon in though!

No, it can't. The opening to the cervix is too small for a tampon to enter it. The cervical opening is only wide enough to allow the passage of menstrual blood. The only time the cervix is open enough to allow anything else to pass is when it dilates (opens) to allow a baby to be born.

Not unless your cervix is dilated from medication or while giving birth. The muscles of the cervix aren't going to permit anything like that... they need to be forced heavily and you will know it if something of any size is trying to get in there.

You'd most definitely feel it pressing very tightly against the close cervix.

If you've ever seen a prolapsed uterus you'd know how tight the cervix is.

it will just get pushed up higher and you will have to get it removed by a doctor, which can be embarassing. You also have a chance of getting TSS if it's lodged up there for too long so always remember to take it out.

A tampon can be pushed too far inside if you leave it in and then have intercourse. You may need assistance finding/removing it.

NO. Unless you are delivering a baby, your cervix should not be dilated.
