The best thing to do is ask other people who own the vehicle or have audited the vehicle from a professional standpoint.

If you look at Edmunds Consumer Ratings - http://www.edmunds.com/new/2007/chevrolet/equinox/100761137/ratings_consumer.html?tid=edmunds.n.crrindex...1.Chevrolet*

You will see that overall consumers give it a 9.1. They do note competitive price v. the RAV4 and "Styling! Very roomy interior (backseat reclines) new wheels, DIC, sunroof, all the options!" You should really read the reviews though as many note "Suggested Improvements" .

You can also ask in the general Chevrolet Equinox discussion http://townhall-talk.edmunds.com/direct/view/.ef10f22 - better yet, read the discussion Chevrolet Equinox Problems & Solutions http://townhall-talk.edmunds.com/direct/view/.ef2ae4b to see exactly what issues people are experiencing. Good luck!

The Equinox does are available in the two front and all wheel tension strategies. The commencing MSRP is $25,280 for the LS AWD type yet this would substitute consistent with extra strategies, expenditures, and so on. The Equinox is an spectacular type to contemplate for an SUV. The gas economic equipment is surprising with the AWD getting as much as 29 city/20 highway MPG gas generic. try utilising is accessible. thank you for inquiring approximately Chevy! let us know in case you have the different product questions. They're pretty nice especially if you get the loaded out LT model with leather, a kickin' sound system and GPS. But all that would cost me more than $32,000 for a brand new one. And for that price I might look at some other small SUVs that have better resale value then the Equinox.

FYI: I wouldn't trust the opinion of anyone who calls himself "Dodge man." Probably a little biased.

The Chevy trucks I've driven have been the toughest trucks ever, for the first 100,000 miles. They can singlehandedly tear down a mountain at first, but every one of them has needed serious work at 100,000 miles, then it gets even worse at 150,000 miles, and it's all downhill from there. To get one to 175,000 miles, you will have spent more than $9,000 in maintenance.

Chevy trucks drive like a virgin: strong at first, then they break down hard. I'd go with a Nissan Xterra or a Toyota 4runner any day, my 1996 4runner has 275,000 miles, many from off-roading around Moab and southern Utah, and is still going strong. Fantastic truck. Not to mention the Equinox is ugly looking.

I see TONS of them on the road, so people obviously like them. I would buy the Jeep Patriot. Even though the Equinox is a new vehicle, the basic design is old (somewhere around '02)
