Some idiots are going to say Rudy. Others are going to say Rocky. But, really, you have to give it up to The Mighty Ducks- To give you some idea of the impact that movie had on me, I'll tell you that I spent about 3 years in a pee-wee hockey league after seeing it.

to me there are many
the replacements
give us old guys the thought of the chance to just play one more down, and god only knows I'd love that last chance
Mystery, Alaska
is another great one, the little guy getting the chance to take it all
to be honest i think i own 95 percent of all sports movies, so its a tough choice for me

Field of Dreams, because it had spiritual elements to it (the cornfield = heaven?) and it had emotional elements to it (boy playing catch with his Dad) and it talked about baseball's part in American history ("it's part of our past Ray"). Plus, it had beautiful scenery, a good soundtrack, James Earl Jones, etc. - - - It's the only movie that has inspired me to drive 1/2 way across the country to visit the location where it was filmed...and it did not disappoint!

It's a tough call, as there are so many good ones, but I take "Eight Men Out" as we see a inside game of baseball in the 'teens

Rudy!
It shows the true spirit of what any athlete should have. It touches the heart of not only a sprts fan but the whole family.

Hoosiers, because it depicts the way the game of basketball should be played and taught. It shows that hard work, dedication, teamwork, and leadership will take you places.
