I'm going to be babysitting my 7 year old nephew tonight, and he enjoys playing PS2 games with me. He's a good player for a 7 year old, but some games are too complex for him. What's a good fun game that he and I can plan together? A two player (together) mode is important to have!

Star Wars Starfighter, hands down! It has a two-player racing mode, flying Star Wars fighter-things (can't think of what they're properly called..) and you also have some options for dogfighting in the sky instead of just racing. It's also pretty easy to pick up and play without any experience. =)

For something totally different, you might give Katamari Damacy 2 (I believe it's called "We Love Katamari") a try, for a completely different experience. ^.^

Well, try ROBOTECH BATTLECRY. It does give the option of two players. It also has a very good real time environment and doesn't have any blood or gore involved. Plus, the more levels you complete in the game, the more multyplayer levels you can get as well!!
