start your own business,a service to others,wash windows,shovel snow,wash cars,clean yards walk dogs run errands etc.

You can sell services, not just goods, on eBay. If you can do something on a computer that other people need (such as photo manipulation using a photo-editor program, researching something on the net and writing a report, bargain-hunting, etc), you could make some money that way.
Look on eBay for services that other people are offering for ideas or think of your own. People send you a file by email such as a document or photo to work on, you do something to it, then send it back. You accept payment via eBay's paypal service.

Come to Michigan, and look along the roads for 10 soda cans. Take them to your nearest grocery store and return them. They'll give you a dollar for 10 cans.
