Who could throw the ball the farthest and/or the fastest in the modern era?? I'd say Elway, who was throwing the ball 60-70 yards on the run routinely in the mid to late 1980s and threw absolute rockets on medium length passes. Other guns: Favre, Marino, Bledsoe, Vick, Jeff George, R Cunningham, even Boomer Esiason had pretty damn good arm. Who do you think? Others?

I would say that Elway had the strongest arm, but Steve Young or Aikman the more accurate.

i would probably have to say that marino is the best quarterback ever but the only thing is he never won a superbowl so in that case i would either have to go with young or elway

Favre-who has never missed a game. His arm has never gotten a rest (except off-season), none of the others can claim this. Favre is still throwing bullets.

I'd go with Elway. His receivers were always saying that his balls were thrown crazy hard.

Marino! Strength, speed and accuracy! Also tough and was hard to sack!
