Right before she needs to get up, turn on the shower make it nice and warm. Put a space heater in the bathroom too so its nice and toasty.

Then carry/drag her butt out of bed and stick her in the shower, clothes and all (heck they will need washed anyway).

That or kick her out of bed and tell her to come back to bed after she showers. If she doesn't live with you, don't let her IN till she showers.

Gross.

I also feel really cold when taking a shower/bath in the winter. Not so much while I'm actually in/under the water - it's getting in and out. So I turn the heat up in the bathroom and KEEP THE BATHROOM DOOR CLOSED to help keep the heat in. I go back and forth between keeping a very large towel right beside the tub for when I get out or hanging it on the towel rack over the heater so it's toasty warm. My husband always laughs at me about this (and last week he actually opened the bathroom window and left the door open to play a little joke on me - not fun shaving all the goosebumps off my legs!) but usually now he'll warm up the bathroom before we're planning to shower. Have fun - and think warm thoughts!

Get one of those electric radiators and an extension lead, plug the radiator in and switch it on and put it in the shower room and close the door over as much as you can (because the wire will be there!) for a while before she takes her shower and the room will be like a sauna for her, cause you dont want her to stink for Christmas do you!

Thanks for all your interest and concern. I've showered now; he ran the water for a couple of minutes... We just moved into a new apartment in Spain and have no heating yet. As for intimacy issues, we're rapidly approaching 30, have been together for 4 years and are expecting our first child... I was just too cold! Can't believe how seriously so many people took his silly question! But cheers, it was a great shower :)

if you don't have a central heating system then put a small heating unit in the bathroom, you can get one from hardware stores like home depot or lowes or general stores like target and walmart, leave it on for about an hour before you shower and the bathroom will heat up so that's cozy enough to get out of the shower all wet without freezing your butt off!

Run the hot water in the bathroom with the door closed for about 5 minutes before she goes in there and get it good and warm or just turn up the heat. If you don't have central heat go buy an electric space heater and put it in the bathroom for ten minutes or so before she goes in there to bath. Good luck.

What the H*LL. Is it that she just doesn't want to take a shower with you? Tell her to put on a robe that way it will be quicker to take off than her clothes. Then she can just jump in the shower.

If you're serious... tell her to let hot water in the shower run for a couple a minutes with the bathroom door closed before going in. That way it'll be nice and toasty, and extremely humid!!
