um. what a strange question.NO i could never eat an animal if i saw it being killed. i don't like to eat animals as it is (i just can't be a vegitearian though) and most certainly not if it was killed right in fornt of me. if the situation was like... i was out in the desert and i was nearly starved to death, then i would rather that i was killed and the animal ate me!

No, never in a million years could I eat that animal. I don't know how people do it. Many get a thrill out of killing deer and then eating them.
I like deer, beef, chicken, pork, etc. But, I could never eat one that I saw being killed and squealing.
I once had a lobster in Maine. They took in out of the tank and let it start walking on my table. They said is this one ok? I said yes, then they threw it into boiling water right in front of me. That is the worst tasting lobster that I have ever had in my life.
I've told people for many years now that I never want to meet the animals that I eat. I just can't handle the thought of it.

Yes, and I have.
It wasn't just for the fun of it, it was to feed our
families. Most country people hunt deer, Pheasant, turkey, rabbits, squirrels and also bear.
Venison is a very delicious meat. And healthy.
It doesn't have chemicals in it like most cows do
now and they only eat grass, leaves and berries.
Rabbits are delicious too.
Lots of farmers kill deer to send to food banks to
towns and cities where people need food.
Don't knock it.

Yes i think i could because you know my dad's a deerhunter. I think it just depends on the animal. If it's a pig, deer, or cow then i could do it. But if it was a animal that most people don't eat like house pet like a cat or dog no i could never do that. You know it's just the basic animals that people already kill today that i don't think i would have a problem with.

Yes - Hunters do it all the time.... A pet is a different subject.
One way to think about it is that you are using the animal - its respectful to use and not waste precious life.
We are ominivoruos - we eat meat and plants - its just another food source - dont think about it..

My Christmas turkey is dying today do you want me to go watch?
I won't have a problem eating it. Not today though, I would have to get over the nasty smell of guts first. Okay by Christmas though.
Never name food. We did once with our angus bull, his name was Basil. Still tasted good, however.

Its one thing to kill and skin something that is already meant for food, but its another thing to do it to a pet. I could eat say, a deer, that I saw that done to, but if I had a pet rabbit.....well rabbits are stupid anyway, bottoms up!

Yes I would, rabbit is pretty decent. Where I live, in northern Wisconsin, we do that sort of thing frequently, it's called deer season. Insert whatever critter you happen to be hunting as a substitute for deer.
