Eating small bland snacks/meals, because having an empty stomach really does make the nausea worse. I had an all day sickness for a month and had to force myself to eat something.
Also see if your prenatal vitamins have a higher dosage than 30mg of iron in them, this also could be making your nausea worse or even could be the cause of it. Ask your dr to perscribe you a low dose iron vitamin. if the low dose is effecting, try cutting them in half take one for when you have a morning snack and save the other one till you go to bed.

Saltines. Make sure your stomach always has a little bit of food in it. It will greatly reduce your nausea. I had morning sickness so bad with my first that I lost 15 pounds the first couple of months. I could stand to lose them though. The doctor told me not to lose anymore. Yes keep something easy to digest by your bed and eat before you get up. Morning sickness usually does go away unless you are one of those unlucky few who suffers through it the whole nine months. With both of my pregnancies, if I sneezed and I didn't have anything in my stomach it tripped my gag reflex and I ended up puking. As soon as they were born it went away.

The pills may take a few days to build up in your system. I had no choice but to take them because I began losing too much weight (12lbs total). I was sick for the first 5 months!

You can try ginger capsules (or real ginger tea). Also try eating more meals just smaller, eat a few crackers before moving from bed in the morning too.

lots and lots and lots of water!

also, instead of crackers - dry cereal (non sugar coated) works real well, plus it has the bonus of extra vitamins and minerals in it.

Morning sickness is caused because of your hormones. Once the hormones are used up - unless flushed out- make you sick. So, in a way, morning sickness is actually a good thing...

At least that's what a nurse told me when we were talking about what I should do to try to reduce my morning sickness this pregnancy since every one of my now 3 pregnancies has been totally different from each other.

in child birth class they advised if we felt sick to bring some peppermint extract with us. I took a empty film case put a cotton ball in it with a couple drops of the peppermint. each time I felt sick I just inhaled the vapers from the bottle and never puked. It worked during labor, so maybe it will work for morning sickness.
good luck.

Try eating several small meals throughout the day instead of heavy meals. Also - get some saltine crackers - they seem to help with the queasy feeling. It's also VERY important to keep hydrated!!!

Sometimes there is no way around it. I had it really bad with my first baby and then not at all with my second one. Try crackers or dry bread first thing in the morning. Also watch what you eat the night before. Hang in there, it will get better.

I always heard if you keep a package of saltine crackers by the bed, and eat one or two when when you wake up, it helps keep morning sickness at bay. It worked for me.
