you need an XViD player or XViD codec for Media player.

if it is on ur computer and u want to open it and don't know where u can find it click on start button then search button then all files and folders then search for the file name and the drive it seem to be in it

go to afterdawn and download the ffdshow codec ... will allow viewing on wmp ... xvid is an avi file ...

for me or anyone else to answer this question we have to know the file extention as in .jpg .exe .gif .doc anything like this. you have to know the file type to see what program to use to open it
