The really cheap ones are almost always counterfeit items made in Far East sweat shops..to be fair, sometimes the quality is actually pretty good, but the fact remains that they are not genuine and you are not buying what you may think . You can almost guarantee that any e-bayer from Taiwan, the Phillipines, or around that part of the world is selling fake jerseys, because thats were they are made in big quantities...also look-out for the same e-bayer selling lots of different jerseys at the same time.
I know from experience..I bought a Fiorentina shirt from one of them. It took a long time to turn up ( about two months ), and although a fairly well made shirt it was definitely not genuine..the logos were not professionaly finished, although they even go so far as to fake the manufacturer's tags and labels. They only good thing was it was cheap!!

If you just want any jersey it's amazing what you might find at the Salvation Army and Goodwill stores. Sometimes you will find good buys at a Play It Again Sports store. Good luck!

I have heard both good and bad things from Ebay, my best bet is to look in the phonebook or yellowpages.com and search for local sports/soccer stores.
