This is not a widespread term among any of my tres gay amigos. But more important, what lead you to believe that this phrase would be referring to female genetalia? If you are having your period, then it could make (only a little) sense, since women sometimes 'leak' (blood) just like broken sinks leak (water), but this is stretching the metaphor, don't you agree?

But if they did mean it the way you suspect, then they are a bit anti-woman, if you ask me. Why not try being direct and ask your BF what it means, or better yet, why not just stop reading other peoples' messages?
