If I missed my period, and 17 days late, can I take a HPT at anytime of the day for the test to still be accurate.

I just went to the health department a few weeks ago for a pregnancy test, and they had me take a urine test. At home I took a Walgreen's brand test and a first response test, and both got a very faint second line. The nurse said their test is in between the two as far as the level of hcg they test for, and I got the same result there, the second line barely showed up, but they confirmed it as a positive. Later in the week, I took my second First Response Test and it showed up 2 dark lines right away. I'm not sure if this helps at all, but a blood test is def the most accurate.

You can take a pregnancy test at anytime of the day. I have read that the hormone that detects pregnancy is most abundant in the first urine of the day. Take it then and good luck!

Yes you can take the home pregnancy test at any time. But to get the absolute best result take it first thing in morning.

That far after your missed period..you should be fine to take a test at any point. If you want to be extra sure take a test tmrw morning with ur first pee. Good luck!
