the skraelings!!!probablly athabaskan indians or inuit eskimo-type people in the area of the saint lawerance river mouth/halifax nova scotia area!!vinland is ,by it's description,is probablly the area around "aux a meadowes"near the bras d'or peninsula! were wild grapes are known to be part of the local flora and fauna!there are replica maps available in many very fine books on the subject!!there was a "quite settled" scandinavian series of settlements wieh churches and walled farm enclosures fertilized by seaweed,turf-walled and roofed houses and anchorages!!from these explorations were undoubyedly generated across the north american continent,as many nationalities had done before them, the phoenicians, the greeks, mycenaeans, iberian celts and many others!!the dna "newest" findings show no correlation between the chumash genetics along the entire wesy coast of north and southern america and that the dna of pre-columbian indigenus inhabitants and any relation to "the alaskan/bering landbridge migrations" theory needs alot more definitive study and investigation with a more "exaxcting" focus on the actual DNA signatures of all collected specimens known and held and in every "in situ" excavations in the future of all archaeological researches world wide!!!!for instance the pottery of the american south west by it's shape, functions, construction and materials, glazes and techniques of manufacture exhibit much thay seems to point to a mediterranean genesis from lybia and north africa, carthage, malta, the baleric islands and so tyre, sidon and phoenicia!!i am interested in any feedback on these suppositions!!
