I'm going to a Christmas party and I want some advice on what color hose to wear with my deep dark Red dress. The dress is knee length and what color hose would be best and AQlso should I wear stockings or pantyhose with the dress? Any help would be appreciated. Barbara

I would wear stockings, but I wouldn't get the typically ones. I would wear something like fishnets or even a pair of black ones with a design on the back of them. It will look good with a red dress. Also depending on the dress, I would get a big black belt and put it on the waist. Also get some kind of heel to make your body look longer, but if you are tall get some pointy toe flats. Make the dress stand out, by making it the one major color. Accessories with black, it works trust me!! Now if you want to be more modest, then go with the simple nude color, but i say take a chance!!

Men have always liked women to be more proper, including the way she dresses. With stockings and/or pantyhose under a dress or skirt, it always looks a lot better than going bare legged. With pantyhose or stockings, it brings out the full potential of what the woman is wearing. Not only that, the pantyhose or stockings have the same effects as make up, as it does cover up those imperfections on her legs, such as scars, bruises, blemishes, uneven skin tone, redness and provides an even coverage on her legs.

I'd say nude or black hose...I prefer pantyhose myself, but you could wear stockings if you like - it's up to you. Try some support pantyhose - your legs will feel great! Have fun, and Merry Christmas :)

If it were me I would wear either off black or tan pantyhose. As to wear stockings or pantyhose, that is a personal preferance, although stockings are easier, and sexier.

Try wearing a pair of red fishnet stockings over white stockings & don't forget to wear a nice garter belt too.

definitly pantyhose, sheer, tan would look awesome with that dark red dress! You should get lots of attention!

I would say suntan or possibly nude but I would definitely wear pantyhose that are sheer. Remember-Nothing beats a great pair of L'eggs.
