Wow.

The first thing that struck me about your astoundingly ignorant question is "why?" Do you not realize the impact and ramifications getting pregnant will have on your lives? Does it even matter to you? How much MORE selfish, self centered and MORONIC could a person be?

Getting pregnant and having a baby isn't just a whimsical game.

Wow.

Here you are 17 years old having unprotected sex and wondering why you haven't gotten pregnant by some guy that you've only been seeing for 7 months. You say you're not trying to get pregnant yet admit that he has ejaculated inside of you at least once per day for the last 6 months? I bet you are still in school or worse dropped out. Why do I think you might have already dropped out? Because you are saying some very ignorant things here, and most kids that are interested in their education and future aren't as foolish as you are. You say you don't want to get pregnant but almost want to just to see if you can. So, what happens when you get pregnant? Will you drop out of school (if you haven't already) and get on welfare like most of the adolescent moms do? Don't sit there and try to lie to yourself and others and say that you will not drop out of school. Because that is statistically incorrect. Do you want to know another statistic? This guy that you have been seeing for 7 months will more than likely leave you to be a single young mommy all by yourself. Yes, that is what you can count on. If you become pregnant now you can look forward to a life where you work a job that you hate to support a child that doesn't have a father. You'll struggle to put food on the table, clothes on both of your backs, and a roof over your head. You'll have to learn to go without so that your child can have. You may even find yourself going into relationships that aren't right for you or your child because you find that it is almost impossible to live on the income that you make. I'm not just spouting off things from the top of my head. I've actually been there and done it. I was a teen mom. And although I love my now 16 year old son more than anything he is paying for choices that I made at his age. I'm having to answer up to him about why his life wasn't the best that it could have been. What is my excuse? I was only 17 years old. Don't be stupid. Go to school, get your life started, get married, and then think about having a child. As for your question, you and this guy may not be compatible. You may not be having sex at the right time of the month. There are many reasons. Just be lucky you haven't gotten pregnant yet. Visit your doctor and get on birth control before you ruin your life and the life of an innocent child!!!

It could be that you are infertile, or that he is infertile, or that you've just been really "unlucky" (I read that 50% of fertilized eggs don't "take").

You could also be a few months pregnant and not realize it. Sometimes women get something resembling their period while they are pregnant, and with your first pregnancy you probably wouldn't begin to show until your 5th month, even later if you are a little overweight to begin with.

You're young. You have many years ahead of you in which to make babies. I strongly recommend getting a pregnancy test and then (if it's negative) going on birth control pills so you DON'T get pregnant right now. Or do you want to be a grandmother at age 35? If you have a child now, and she has a child when she's your age, that's what will happen! I'm 33, and I just barely feel like I'm old enough to be a mother (I'm pregnant, BTW).

What does your fiance think about the two of you raising a child? I trust you've talked about this already.

No offense, but you are 17 & sexually active & you don't want to get pregnant but you are doing NOTHING to prevent it either. How irresponsible & immature is that??? You are NOT married & you have NO way to support any child that you irresponsibly bring into this world.
The reason you may not be getting pregnant is because God is most like thinking the same thing I am.... Someone with the sense he gave a rock is NOT smart enough to have a child & raise it with anymore sense than she has.....
I pity any child you get pregnant with at this point in time. My tax dollars are NOT intended to support irresponsiblity & ignorance.

If you don't want a baby then why would you want to get pregnant. You have to go through a lot of pain during the pain and even worse pain when you go into labor. People go through with it because they want a baby. Why would you go through all of that pain when you don't want a baby. It won't be good for the baby to be born into a family that didn't really want it. Also you should wait until you are married. You don't have to, but it would be in your's and the babies best interest if you waited until you are emotionally and financially prepared to have a baby.

'Cause the good Lord knows you're not ready for it. Yes, every woman's chance varies, and the only way to know for sure what's going on w/ your body is to go to your gynecologist!

Are you or are you not looking to get pregnant? If not, get on birth control. It's better to hold off until you're married and KNOW you want to be w/ the man you're doing now.

well to increase your chances of getting pregnant you should not have sex every day or more then once a day. Every other day is best. Each month you only have a 25% chance of conceiving if you have sex at the appropriate time. It takes the average couple about 8 months to get pregnant with charting and knowing EXACTLY when the woman ovulates

You have no business getting pregnant. It would not be fair to any kid you bring into the world.
