Whenever I view a web page, there are always red boxes when really there should be a picture or advertisement. I have tried flash player and shockwave but it's not them.

If in firefox go to tools>options>content-tab. Make sure the option to load images automatically is checked.
In IE (internet explorer) go to internet options>advanced> uncheck "show image download placeholders"

If using a toolbar (such as earthlink, aol etc), make sure the options in it allow images to show.
If that doesnt work rightclicking on the image should give you some options for it.

A third option for IE is internet options>advanced tab> restore advanced defaults.

The final option is to reinstall your browser. (but the above options should work)

The images did not load, that is why there is a red box. Try installing Java this may fix the problem.

Make sure that there isn't anything saying that you don't wish to view pictures or something like that, especially if you are using Firefox.
