Side effects of Ortho Novum 1/35?

I've been taking it for about a week. And I noticed the usual side effects like nausea and headaches sometimes, but the thing that's making me worried is that my breasts have become a little firmer? If i were to push down on them, there'd be a dull pain. It wasn't like this prior to me taking the pill. And they get itchy sometimes, usually around the nipple. And then, my nipples have become very sensitive. Is that normal? Or should I worry?

I took that many years ago but don't remember breast issues. Either ask your doctor or read the literature that came with the pack o fpills (or check their website) and see if you find that as a possible side effect.

my dear dont even worry about it there just side effects that will go away in a month or two.
estrogen and progestern, the pill contains those two hormones that help you prevent getting pregnant. its only hormones, if your worried go to ortho's web site and look it up, i went through the same things with evra, the birth control patch and after a month the side effects went away, headachs are common with birth control and so is breast pains. your fine dont stress. body pain is better then a baby pain
right?

totally normal.i had a million similar side effects,ask ur dr if u can switch.i switched to yaz,and i love it-no more breast discomfort.not as much nausea except with first 2 packs,no side effects at all-im on my fourth pack,and i dont feel like im taking anything!good luck!!!
