I'm 6 1/2 weeks pregnant and the only symptoms I have had are mild cramping and sore nipples. I actually seem to have more energy and feel better than I did before I was pregnant. The last few days the cramping has increased to moderate pain but no bleeding. I called my Dr. and they said nothing to worry about unless their was bleeding with the cramps. My first appt is not scheduled til 9 weeks. Now the nipple soreness seems to be gone and I'm wondering if something is wrong?

Your symptoms are normal. The cramping is probably gas/constipation pains. I have the the same thing and have had them from the start. As long as no bleeding happens, then you should be fine. But if they ever get worse or longer, you should see the doc. I have also been constipated since I became pregnant. You should ask your doctor about taking stool softeners. And the emotions come the hormone changes. And so does the smells that make you gag. I've had them all and am 12 weeks now and they are just starting to go away. Congrats!!!

The cramping is probably your uterus starting to stretch a little. I had that with my first two. I would assume you have a lot of energy and feel great because you are excited. Congratulations! I never had a lot of morning sickness with my first one but I would start feeling sick if I went too long without eating and my sugar got off balance. Try and keep some snacks or juice boxes with you even if you are feeling great. Every pregnancy has different symptoms, can your doctor move your ultrasound up? You could even call and say if they have a cancellation, you could come in. If you are going to worry through your entire pregnancy, you can rent a machine to hear the heartbeat. They are relatively inexpensive.

If you still have some symptoms, don't worry. Your doctor is right, unless there is bleeding with the cramping, there's nothing to worry about. Some people just get over their symptoms early or don't get them at all.

No I really don't think that anything is wrong. I was 7 weeks pregnant before I even found out I was going to be having a baby. I was probably 10-11 weeks before I really felt pregnant.

I wouldn't worry about it if that is possible........When I was pregnant I never had any symptoms until I was around 12 weeks pregnant and than I was sick every night......That lasted about a month than nothing again. Feel lucky you feel good. Good Luck!
