What options will I have for getting to and around the casinos? Do they have wheelchairs available?

You can reserve a wheelchair from your hotel. If you want to see different casinos and restaurants, stay in a hotel downtown. There are a lot of casinos close together. The hotels on the strip are far from each other. You can also ask for a room for handicap - they usually have wider bathrooms (for the wheelchair) and a telephone in the bathroom.

I did the Las Vegas marathon and had to get wheeled around once the time hit midnight. Most casinos do have wheel chairs available. Take the Vegas 2decker bus that goes up and down the strip if you want to go to many casinos along the strip. It's only $5 to ride as much as you want for 24hrs. Don't gamble on Saturday, the machines will not pay. The MGM is way to expensive and snobby. The Luxor is cool on the inside but disappointing on the inside. All the rest of the casinos are great.

At the Aladdin shopping area, there is this leather jacket store that is moving and having a huge sale... my bf and I got very nice jacket for a steal price. I can't remember the name and this was 2 wks ago.

Have fun!

Most Casinos have manual wheelchairs available free of charge. They may ask for a deposit. You can also call the hotel and they will help you get an electric scooter if needed. I'm not sure what the charge is but the rental company will deliver the scooter to the hotel and pick it up when you are done.

Most of the hotel/casinos have wheelchairs. Contact the hotel you will be staying at and inquire about one there. As far as getting around, the buses are all wheelchair accessible and now the have the monorail that is wheelchair accessible too.you shouldn't have much trouble.

Get some Crutches..and then ask the casinos/hotels when you get there if you can borrow a wheelchair.
Most of the major casino's have everything and anything you want as long as you show them that you're a healthy gambler.

The Deuce is good for getting around (that's what they call the double decker buses), and the prices are good. They do have a Monorail, but it is located at the back of the casinos they service and you have to climb stairs to get to the platform (or ride an elevator).
