Those poor hamsters. You murdered them! You murderer! You killed 8 hamsters! 8 Hamsters! They CANNOT swim. The only reason you thought they can swim is because, they were swimming to save their own lives. It is animal instinct.

yes they can...if you throw any living animal in water its gonna move its legs and try to swim by instinct.....

yes they can....if you put them in the toilet... flush, you will see them really swim really fast....their little arms will flutter fast..and you can see them do the back stroke and if you look really hard i swear you can see them do some fancy footwork. not....i'm kidding....why would you want to know? i'm sure they can.....why don't you try...i won't tell .....you can always blow dry him....but if you do..there is a chance the will die....because he can catch a cold....goodluck....i think they are cheap to buy...but would you really do that to your pet?

In the wild they must know how, but I would not try with a domesticated one who's never been in water. plus, they get sick easily if they're too cold.
