did you filled the bath first ?
you do this to allow the seal to seat under load and leave for 24 hours

Your suppose to wait 24 hours before getting the area wet,but it doesn't fully dry for 3 to 5 days depending on the temperature of the room. If wet before the 24 hrs the silacone will just begin to prematurely peel off.

You can take a bath now...just try and keep water off the silicone. It needs to cure. So if your are careful ...take that bath or shower being careful not to get any on the silicone...Go for it

Silicone will look great for a short time. Caulk works best around the tub and it will remove easily when you have to replace it. If you use caulk with microban it will last even longer.
If I was you I would remove it. But that is up to you.

My silicone sealent says at least 24 hours..........cant prove this myself as I have only got a shower and that took 24 hours to dry.
