It does resemble an Italian surname. i think of the ideas takes an unusual call and interprets it into something recognisable. in the past each and every thing look it appeared like Stefano to me. My maiden call is Italian and whilst people ask if my family members is interior the mafia, I say, "why particular, they are. isn't each and every Italian a mafia member?" basically between the various stereotypes obtainable.
