I was wondering if anyone here watching the show called Hereos. They use the saying "Save the Cheerleader, Save the world." As their saying on the commercials. My husband and I didn't think i was any good but we were watching it last night with my parents (they had it recorded on their Tivo.) and it's a pretty cool show. So has anyone else seen it? I guess it comes on Monday nights at 8 or 9 pm on NBC.

Yes, it's great. I can't wait to see the next episode.
There are several main characters with powers (that we know):
Hiro, who can bend time and space
Claire, the cheerleader who can rejuvenate
Peter, who can take on other's powers when near them
Nathan, Peter's brother, who can fly at supersonic speeds, if need be.
Matt, who can read minds
Isaac, who can paint the future
Niki/Jessica, who seems to have a split personality with Jessica having almost superhuman strength
Then there are several minor characters with powers
Micah, Niki's son, who appears to be able to heal or something like that. He put his hand on a phone that didn't work and he was able to talk to his mother through it.
D.L., Niki's husband, who can go through matter or have matter go through him.
Sylar, the villain, who is killing and eating the heroes brains to get their powers.
Haitian, who can erase memories.
Eden had the power of persuasion.
New Years Day they are running a marathon of episodes or you can go here and watch episodes online.

HEROES is really great. It airs Mondays at 9 pm on NBC (and Global if you are in Canada). Most episodes that have aired so far will rerun during the holidays and early January. If I recall NBC even has planned a few Mondays with 2 or 3 episodes, so check NBC.com or your TV Guide for schedule of reruns.

It's like X-men. There are people with powers such as teleporting, flight, healing powers (the cheerleader's power), and others. If you want a recap, go to nbc.com, scoll down 'shows' to Heroes or there is a marathon on NBC on 12/31 at 8am

Yeah, fairly good. Some plot devices reminds me of X-Men though. Check out their site for a "comic book" that explains some more of the background. Last I heard the season resumes around Jan 22 (their blurb says "On January 22nd, the answers start with a question... are you on the list?")

Yes, it's really good. Sometimes you can catch reruns on the SciFi Channel on Fridays at 7 PM (EST). And every so often, they show all of the episodes of this season. I thought it would be cheesy, but I'm hooked. I love Hiro!
