My Sister lives with my Family, her income is limited. She and I went in together on our Mother a gift for Christmas. I was wanting to buy our Mother another gift from My Family. However my sister can't afford to buy her anything else. And i;m affraid if I buy my Mom something else it will make my Sister feel bad. What should I do?

Buy the gift..You are doing that from the heart not to make your sister mad. I she lives in the house so she can fix your mom a dinner or something

Buy your mom a gift. You only have one mom and if your sister wants to she can get her one herself.....My sister and I can not give the same amount of gifts to our mom....My sister has more money than me and my mom knows that. My mom still loves me even if I can not buy her the things that my sister can and does.

Buy another gift. On the gift wrap write your sisters name also along with yours. You will make your sister also happy. The smile on her face will make your day.

Tell your sister that you are going to get your Mom another present and not to worry about her paying her share, and that you will put her name on the tag too. Telling her a little white lie about the price won't hurt either. Tell her it was 50% off or something.
