why stop you kitty from the one time of the year he can act like a wild cat? I personally love watching my cat climb the tree pretending to be some tigress :)

I have a cat that used 2 do that they will stop eventually if they poke themselves with the needles. but if u want it 2 stop right now just pull it by the scruff of the neck every time it does it that always works 4 me

You put aluminium paper all around the tree, cats don't like that.

get it a distraction, like a little toy mouse. then put a little fence around your tree. if your cat crosses the fence, spray it with a spray bottle.

get some cions in an empty tin...every time the cat goes to the tree...shake the can realy hard to make a bad noise...the cat will sonn get the idea..

She thinks it is going to hurt her. Hold her next to it to show her that it wont. *or* the presents should go around it and the cat wont be able to "see" it.
