just wanted to know because i think we should and so does my co worker who has been working as retail and retail management for about 20 years. We were told differently.

Depends on the laws in your state. In my state, in retail, I think they get time and 1/2 for Sundays. For Christmas, they are closed. So, I don't know about you state. But if you have to work and need your job, work. What else can you do.

yes they did.... specially u need to check the stockes and make a weekly report... make sure that u got enough... your example is Christmas... it is the peak season for everything... and everything is business.. restaurants, shopping, travel, airline... etc
