drink a glass of milk with the vitamin. It makes the vitamin easier for your stomach to tolerate. God bless!

I had "morning" sickness 24/7 for all 9 months with my first 3 kids and couldn't take the prenatal vitamins they prescribed me. Also couldn't find anything ( prescribed or over the counter ) to take that made me not sick, if you're worried about the vitamins then try chewing 2 flintstone vitamins. My doc told me it's about the same thing. As for the morning sickness I never found anything to make it go away Sorry = (
Good Luck!

The pills for the nausea are safe to take during pregnancy. You could try taking ginger capsules for a natural anti-nausea solution. I had no choice but to take the medication because nothing else worked for me and I began losing too much weight, which is worse then taking medication.

I had morning sickness for the first 5 months -- the ONLY thing that helped was to drink a "flat" coke-a-cola. I would open a bottle and keep shaking it until all the fizz went out of it. Its no fun to throw up but if I eat something right after I vomited...I could hold something down.

i had wretched morning sickness, too. i wouldn't take the nausea pills either. i found i could only eat plain pancakes.

as for the vitamins, the prescribed prenatals made me really sick, but i ended up switching to women's one-a-day which my doc said was better than nothing.

also, although orange juice has acid in it which may (or may not) irritate your stomach, it tastes the same when it comes back up. gross, i know, but it helped me a lot.

try taking the pill aty night, or first before eating.. change it up usually there is a trick around the throwing up. i figure out when i was pregnant that if i ate by 10 am i was fine, but if 20:02 hit i was screwed for the day. try a different prenatal or something

Sorry to say but the nausea is something that you will have to deal with for about the first 3 months of your pregnancy. It is just something that a majority of women go through. It will pass just hang in there.

Take your vitamin at nght when you are going to bed and not going to be eating anything for a while. You will still be able to get the vitamins that you need and also the nutrients from the food that you also need!

hello! if the doctor gave you the pill then that means he or her is VERY worried about you becoming dehydtated and that could harm the baby. the doctor would not give you something that will hurt your baby. you have to eat and drink to stay healthy for you and the baby ok? good luck and talk to the doctor about your options!
