Donald Trump is an egomaniac. He is just blathering to keep himself in the public eye since there is no such thing as bad publicity and his new apprentice loser boring tired out show is airing in January. He is just doing it for attention to the show. He inherited most of his money, let's face it and he has had advantages others did not have. He acts self made but I am more self made than he. He is a buffoon.

i think he's just acting like a big baby. people talk about other people all the time in that business, even in the regular world. it's a commentary show, and someone made a comment...big freakin deal! why is he boo-hooing? and the fact that he said he'd sue is the only intimidation factor he has and is able to use, he's trying to scare with a lawsuit so as to silence. can't he take it like an adult (who's in the public eye I might add) and have a witty come back without using the "boo-hoo, you said something bad about me, I'm gonna sue" tactic? puhleeeze!
I agree that Rosie took it beyond but she's always been vocal like that, she just happens to be more in the public eye right now because she's on The View and all the hoopla that started with Star Jones and crap.....she's always had comments and opinions, they've just never been AS publicized as they are right now. But still, those people or things she stated an opinion about didn't threaten to sue her "just for the fun of it", that was entirely stupid on Trump's part. He's throwing around his authority....more like throwing around his money that gives him that authority.

Trump sueing O' Donnell for speeching. I think a self made millionaire or whatever should know that in America we have thing called freedom of speech. Hey what is new. How did Trump not say he was going to sell O'Donnell's woman so brought her to the View today. Crazy!!

Mr Trump lately seems to have a god complex. However Rosie is being too nasty. Humor is fine but she went beyond.

When u go on national t.v. and take on a powerful person, get ready to face the consequences. Think before you talk....Rosie knows that very well considering her past.

I think the "Donald" is a nasty, mean person! He is willing to do anything to draw attention to himself! He needs to get a life!
I say...KUDO's to Rosie...that hair thing was hilarious! At least she is a honest and lovable person!

If your assertion is true it's not a question of money, its an ethical question of morals....slander....I don't know the details as most people who think they do have only read what has been sensationalized through the media...thanks for sharing though---
