I've only seen it a coul=ple of times, but I hear the music all the time, I just want to see if anyone else likes it too!!! Please nothing rude.

The original Broadway musical is SOOO much better, but since we are not all fortunate enough to have a live performance around the corner from us (I live in AL for goodness sake), the movie is an ok alternative.
At least most of the cast in the movie is the original stage cast, but a lot of the musical element was transformed for the movie format. Still, though, I'll never turn down watching and singing along to the movie.

I love that movie to death! I am a drama dork and a choir nerd. So its perfect for me. I love musicals. But what makes "Rent" even better is almost all of the actors who played the characters on Broadway played them again in the movie. Except for Mimi and Joanne. It helped that the actors had such a strong connection since most of them had spent a lot of time together on Broadway. The man who wrote "Rent" is a genius!

The Broadway production is 10 thousand times better than the movie. Don't get me wrong, I did like the movie but only because of the music. It is very powerful seeing it on the stage.

Oh my gosh...it's one of my all-time favorites! I saw the stage play twice in Los Angeles and the movie was easily as good as the show was live. I also bought the book called Without You by Anthony Rapp who played Mark in both the play and the movie. Very interesting.

OMG, i admire the action picture hire sooo lots!! it quite is basically soo inspiring and exciting. all the characters are super especially Adam Pascal <3 each and every time I watch that action picture I hysterically cry. i admire the songs! you may learn alot from the action picture. I even have yet to verify the play, yet I guess it quite is super too!

I've had the misfortune of having a family member rent it on movie night.No offense.
I really didn't like it.Not that I don't like musicals but this one (in my opinion)was poorly done.
But to each his/her own....

i the song they song it makes me laugh and smile because i like how the song is the part when all sing i forgtot how it goes but i love it

i, myself havent seen the movies, but my sister raves about it. its prob one of her all time fave movies. she knows all the music and all that ish.
