Count your blessings first of all. Maybe she isn't ready to have a boyfriend yet. Some like to get College and Careers going before beginning to look for someone to share their life with. Some like to NOT have a boyfriend and enjoy what they want to do without having a rope holding them back. I wouldn't be upset about her NOT dating anyone, maybe she doesn't want to. Merry Christmas

What? Why is this in the Christmas questions? And why does it matter that she has know boyfriend!? Maybe she should wait until the right guy steps forward, instead of being pushed at some guy who she should not be with! If she does not have a job get her one, your house your rules! But don't press her into a relationship. She may just not be ready for relationship, be patient.

Tell her she needs to get a job(if she doesn't have one yet), and tell her she needs to move out by a certain date, like maybe 4 to 6 months or so. I'm very serious. We told our kids that when they turn 18, they have one month to find a place to live(they have been working since they were 16). Now they appreciate the fact that we had them do it, 'cause they have learned independance.

You don't mention how old she is or if she works or not. If she is still living at home, isn't that better than what she could be doing.

I myself am not in the best position to discus this but while what I do for a living pays the bills and puts me through collage, I hope my daughter (if I ever have one) learns to do better.

Why does she have to have a boy friend, not all of us spend our lives in search of a "man". Not all of us define ourselves by the "man" we happen to have boning us.
