I think the BOND of friendship is what makes a good friend. A bond that is secured by trust, mutual respect, Good will for and showing it towards the Friend @ all times , ( good, bad, ugly, indifferent )..., the time invested , to take care of the relationship .all of these elements are vital characteristics for a good friend...& a grrrrrrrreat freindship.

When a friend treats u good
When they dont stab u at the back
when they dont gossip about u
when they dont talk about sh*t
when they see u often
when they call u see how ur doing
when they invite u out to their place (Im saying that,coz some dont invite to their place)
All these things makes a good friend!

They keep your secrets, prefer you over one of their sexual preference, are always there for you, fight with you but then help you work things out. They let you call them in the middle of the night if you have to and don't judge you on why. There's more but you're probably bored already.

someone who's not afraid to pick your boogers if you have one inside your nose...
im serious. a friend who can't handle seeing you stupid in front of others will do something to prevents you for being humilated.

someone you can be serious with and goof off with too.

someone you can just sit there with and say nothing, and know what they're thinking.
