you see guys the wii and the ps3 will be having internet browsers on their consoles but what about having one on the xbox 360!! i would seriously love to surf the internet on my couch!!

While it would make perfect sense in many ways for Microsoft to throw Internet Explorer onto the Xbox 360, seeing as it's just a PC with some nice specialized hardware and a chopped up version of Windows XP, I don't think they're in any rush to do so. The user experience surfing from a gaming console is terrible when compared to that on a normal PC or even a set top media PC. With the availability of wireless mice and keyboards, and set top PC's rapidly moving into the market, I don't see how they'd bother to invest the resources into developing this feature when in reality, anybody with any common sense would surf on their PC instead.

As an interesting side note, it's actually possible to surf on your 360 now if you know what you're doing... here's a link to a post on a forum about how to do so:

idk about the x-box but the wii internet is SICK! a lot better than the PSP internet!! you can actually go on myspace and listen to music and vatch videos!!
