WARNING!

Stay away from CashCreate, Treasure Trooper and other survey Web sites.

It is a waste of time and will cause you unhappiness.

If you choose to be suckered in and sign up to take surveys and receive, free trials considered you were warned. The minute you give them your credit card and personal information you have now opened your computer to unwanted cookies on your hard drive, annoying pop-up windows and if you are on a PC you open your computer to viruses that can wipe you out.

A lot of work to collect the "reward payments" that payout is not worth the effort over time. You will need to sign up for many types of offers, most of which require you to use a credit card. You start a week trial service with varies types of businesses or services, such as, an Internet service provider, book club, credit monitoring service, etc. to get your reward. If you don't cancel the trial, you end up being charged for the service and each service has different rules about how and when you can cancel. Very cumbersome!

Since you will need to sign up for at least a dozen offers before you get to $100 in rewards, it's very easy to forget what you have signed up for, or the problems you will have canceling in time to to be charged the full amount. The Cash Create recruiters you see here over exaggerate how much money you can earn because once you've done the high-dollar trials ($8-10 each) once, you are left with small rewards of a dollar or two. The survey business is not an efficient way to make money and you are more than likely to loose in the end.

Yes, there are truly successful home based businesses out there that are worth it IF you have the committment, remember running a home based business is the same as any business out there. It is a business, you must work it. . . no true, real business is going to give you money without you doing something, you must invest time and some money into any business. With that said, if you're looking for something, let me run this by you:
(as you can tell by my answer so far, I'm not one of those "spammers" promoting some kind of web site)

This is a legitimate Internet marketing business opportunity, not some kind of scam, something that you should find out more about. It's a business that has a system that allows you to build it, develop it, then when it's up and running it allows you to exit and with the extra time you'll have, you'll be able to build, develop and run another. . .it's never ending, IF you're up to it. It's not difficult, it doesn't take a rocket scientist to do. It’s as simple as this: Shop on-line (do your regular shopping – toothpaste, toilet paper, deodorant, etc) and get paid for it, then get others to do the same thing and get paid for that, too. It can be developed as a referral business or you can directly market the products. There is a huge variety of products to market, which gives you the advantage of choosing just a few products or even just one product that you're interested in and really get behind it. The affiliated corporation takes care of inventory, shipping, billing/payment procedures, bookkeeping, business reports, etc. Ultimately, you're getting paid for redirecting your shopping and referring others to do the same. It's fun, it's easy, and it is incredibly profitable. There's a saying: We’re making friends, making money, and making a difference. If you'd like more information, contact me at hoozdaboss@aol.com

One of the first things I would recommend that you do is start thinking about your interests/passions... and go into an internet business that is based on that. Why? Because it makes the work a lot easier.

Answering the following questions should help you develop ideas:

1) what websites do you visit when you're just surfing online?
2) do you have pets?
3) do you play and sports?
4) do you collect anythings?
5) do you have any specialized education?

See what I mean....

After that, you've got to decide the business model that you want to use - do you want to develop you own product or do you want to be an affiliate marketer (market other peoples products)?

Then you've got to learn basic skills such as building and uploading websites, setting up autoresponders, setting up a merchant account to take orders, etc.

And then, probably the most important part... you have got to learn how to market you business.

If your interested in starting up your own internet business, then I would like to recommend the following great resource:

http://www.affiliatemarketinglessons.com/internet_business_startup.html

This program shows you, step-by-step, how to create a sucessful online busines. But, what is unique about this, is that the creator of the program also provides you with a special hotline, so that you have one-on-one assistance at anytime.

If your interested in affiliate marketing (marketing other people's products/services) then you'll want grab a copy of this book - http://www.affiliatemarketinglessons.com/superaffiliate.html

If your interested in joining an existing internet business, then I would recommend SFI Marketing Group (http://affiliatemarketinglessons.com/SFI.html). I would recommend that you join this opportunity either way because 1) its Free and 2) you'll learn a lot through their training.

Anyways, I hope this helps... and I wish you much success.

Yes there is. The problem of finding the legitimate opportunity is because there are ads all over Internet promoting various opportunities and these ads prevent you from finidng real home business opportunities.

Earning money on the Internet is basically no different than earning money offline. You have to provide others with something and get money in return.

So, if you wish to earn money online from your home than you have to work for it.

There are currently 2 profitable business models you can apply that I know of.

1. Internet Technologies

If you have at least one of the folowing skills: webdesign, graphic design, writing, PHP, ASP, Java, Flash, etc. you can provide your work to others and earn quite a lot money.

If you don't have your own website, you can find jobs on some freelancer websites. Check the source below.

Getting a job may be difficult, but be persistent and always bid for more jobs at one time. This is a great way to improve your chances of being selected for the work.

2. Internet Marketing

This is another way to earn quite a lot money online, but you must be skilled and know how to market on the Internet. If you are unexperienced, this will be a lot harder and be prepared to spend at least 6 months to 1 year until you figure out what works and what doesn't.

If you are skilled in Internet Marketing, you can find job easily. Find some commercial websites and apply to work for them as their affiliate. If you can provide them with traffic/leads/sales, they will pay you.

You can also market your own services and products.

Hope this helps!

These guys give MORE than they advertise!

The folks at SiteSell are on the cutting edge home-based e-commerce. They've helped me and tens of thousands of people launch successful home-based web businesses with SBI!

In the busy, noisy blogosphere, get ready for some quiet, original, and valuable thinking, not to mention unique insights into SiteSell itself. http://blogit.sitesell.com/wotsnext.html

It works for me. As an example, take a look at how I use the SiteSell. Then see if you can fit something similar around your own area of expertise. Complicated question. I'll tell you what I do online as an example.

I resell web hosting and domains on the internet. It's a very competitive market, but easy to promote. I currently make enough to support myself, wife and son comfortably.

Like anything else worthwhile though it takes time and a lot of work. You have to promote your business and keep at it.

Here's the link for the reseller program
http://reseller.dugancom.com/

And here's a link about web site promotion
http://websitepromotion.divinfo.com/...

Don't expect immediate amazing results with any business you may start. If it sounds to good to be true it probably is. Web hosting and domain sales is as basic as you can get on the net and a great place to start. Good luck!

I don't know about GIVING folks what they advertise, but I know of many people including me, who have earned significant income from Amway/Quixtar and Herbalife.

Both of these opportunities require you to work the business, nut the rewards are available. Anyone who says they are scams or that they know someone who lost "thousands of dollars" is just passing along urbanmyth BS that they want to believe.....
