I'm interested in the acting industry and am very interested in having Brad Pitt mentor me through the process of becoming an actor myself. I know it sounds far-fetched and that millions of others would also love this opportunity but I believe I stand out from the crowd because I have the talent, the dedication, and the determination to become a household name. If anyone has any contact numbers or emails, I'd gladly appreciate it. All tips, comments, and critcisms also accepted. Thanks again.

All I can say is, thousands of others have the same qualities you mention and big name stars don't mentor them. You'll have to do it the hard way like everyone else. If you're still in school, work on school plays, even if you don't get a part, do behind the scenes work, get to know how things work. Look into community/dinner theaters in your area. Go to college, major in drama, act in everything you can and be involved behind the scenes in anything you can that you're acting in.
Then you hit New York or Hollywood. Be prepared to live off peanut butter, ramen noodles and maybe mac-n-cheese for several years. Audtion everywhere, every thing you hear about. Maybe you'll get a few roles. Don't turn down small stuff just because it's small. Do ads, do TV, do ANYTHING to get noticed (as long as it's legal). Maybe you'll be one of the lucky ones.

Yeah, okay, I bet he's really into signing up young people who believe they have the talent to mentor them. You know, I hear he has lots of free time, what with his movie career, Angelina, three kids, charity work... I think I heard the other day that he was looking for a few newbies to mentor, you know, to kind of round out his schedule.
Honey, the only way you're going to get a little Brad Pitt face-time would be if you were a starving child in Africa or you developed some terminal disease and qualified for the Make-A-Wish Foundation to arrange a meet, an autograph, and a photo-op.
That line about how you think you have what it takes.... did you get that off the American Idol reject auditions? Every moron on there says they know THEY have what it takes.
Get real. If you're serious about acting, then ACT, don't try to enlist some A-list star to "mentor" (aka. get a little publicity for) you.

If you have the talent and the determination, you don't need Brad Pitt or anyone else. You can do it on your own the same way any of the other actors did.
Keep doing what you love. Write or produce your own material if you need to show off your talent. Film yourself and circulate your best work on the internet. Promote yourself by taking on any and all roles, and challenge yourself to try diverse experiences.
Don't settle for being under the shadow or wing of anybody else.
You can fly on your own. Commit to your dream and go for it!

P.S. If you would be interested in forming a national touring troupe, please see script to "Juliet and Romeo" posted at http://www.houstonprogressive.org/jr-index.html
I originally wrote this musical revue to feature local talent, performers and artists. Later, I decided it would be a good public outreach for former child stars who have moved on to directing and producing, so that experienced actors can mentor budding stars by working together on a fun project while promoting theatre, arts and music education.
Let me know what you think of this! If you are as talented in "fashion design" as in acting, you could be the perfect person to start a production team and touring troupe around this project.
Are you interested?

Actors have busy lives. If they mentor anyone it will be their friends and relatives, not strangers.
Go to drama college and learn to be a compelling performer.
