A serious question(s) about, When I die...
I do not want an autopsy performed on my body, except for hair, blood, nail and external and internal swap samples without being cut or punched invasivly.
I do not want to be placed in a man -made casket or man-made tomb.
I do not want a head stone.
I do not want to be buried in a private, public or church cemetary.
I do not want to be cremated.
I want my body to be placed in the earth without the above alterantives.
I want my burial site to blend in with the the natural terrain.
I do not want the disposition of my body or its location known to the "general" public.
If none of the above can be done for me 1st, then as a second option, I am not opposed to being buried at sea (with no identfying information as to who I am).
I want my agent(s) to be able to plan, transport, and dispose of my body without leagal interferance.

Thank you for any help you may be able to provide me.

Depending upon the way that you die, an autopsy is up to the family, and usually required in cases of suspicious death and/or pending lawsuits.

I think you might be able to be interred as you wish if you own vacant land, this is usually where a lawyer comes in. You should consult one who specializes in probate and real estate law, they usually know the zoning laws pertaining to human remains.

Headstones, like funerals aren't for the dead, but the living survivors, so don't assume that just because you don't want one, it will be done. Sometimes, even the creation of a headstone or marker is a cathartic experience for a close loved one and you should respect that.

Hope this helps.

Being buried at sea sounds like your best bet. There are so many regulations on burying a body here in the USA. The main reason for the "regular burial" sites is so that the family and friends ( and government) can keep track of all deceased ppl. Even though you will have to go through legal processes...the sea will return your remains as you wish!
Best wishes on your preference!

Would you be willing to consider donating your body to forensic science?---The "Body Farm" is taking donations.....

The only way that scientists can find out how fast corpses decompose, and under what sort of conditions, is to field-test.... and pigs don't necessarily cut it. (They can also use nice human skeletons of known age and provenance to update anthropology files.)

Google the phrase for more specific information---don't want to include it here because of the "TOO MUCH INFORMATION!!" factor---but it IS a valid use of remains, and can do much good when it comes to helping solve crimes and identify the unknown dead.

Your call. Good luck in your search, but here's hoping you'll not have to do anything for a while.

I think in today's society. With the laws and all
the best thing that you can do is
Do as the wild animals
Go off into the woods and die
become one with the earth

.
