I'm 11 weeks preggo as of yesterday, and my tummy is getting "thicker" to where I can't wear my normal pants without fixing the button somehow, yet I can't feel my stomach getting harder or my uterus coming out of my "pelvic" cavity. Pregnant or previously pregnant women, is this normal? I want to be able to feel my baby an I'm getting worried. No bleeding or anything.

None of that started happening to me until around 5 months. It was like one day my stomach hardened and I "looked" pregnant. Until that time, I just looked fat-not pregnant. So it really depends on the woman but I would say that your experience is normal. Also, you won't be able to feel the baby kick or move until probably at least 19-20 weeks and even then, people probably won't be able to feel or see anything from the outside...you'll feel little flutter-kicks. Good luck!

Absolutely normal.

In all of my pregnancies, (I have three boys) I couldn't feel anything until oh, about sixteen weeks...?

But, (and this is um...probably more info than you wanted to know), if you have a partner, sometimes you can feel your belly contract and get really hard, and actually feel the uterus after you have an orgasm. Lay on your back right after, and you might be able to feel that. Seems like I was about 12 or 13 weeks each time I started to feel that.

the uterus on first time moms does not rise above the pubic bone till after 12 weeks second and above pregnancies can rise after 10 weeks. so if your having a hard time buttoning your pants you've been enjoying the excuse of pregnancy and eating to much like the rest of us did first time around.. whew if we only knew how hard it is to take off after wards.. following pregnancies we remember and don't over indulge. normal wt gain for the first 13 weeks is 1-2 lbs..first time moms usually start to feel flutters at 15 weeks

Honey, be glad...I showed from day one and was HUGE when I delivered...pre-pregnancy 130...at delivery 211...now, 1 year later 115 lbs...your best bet is to buy one of those heart monitor things at Babys R Us and find the heart beat, it will put your mind at ease for a while...soon enough you'll be big...enjoy moving around while you still can...

It is perfectly normal, everyone is different and if this is your first it will take longer for you to get that pregnancy look. Don't worry it will be there before you know it. If you have had normal check ups all is well.
