True born again Christians only believe in one God - that is, the Father, Son and Holy Spirit - the three are one! The bible says that in 1 John 5:7 - "For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost - the three are one".
The existence of one God has nothing to do with whether there is war or not. This is not a perfect world. Because of man's sin and the existence of evil in the world, that is the reason there is war.

There is only ONE God. But you do have the Holy Trinity: The Father (God), the Son (Jesus-God made into man), and the Holy Spirit (God spiritualized).
You can't get to the Father, without going through His Son.
Instead of being negative about that which you do not understand, why dont you read your Bible and consult a minister/pastor?
Different religions sprang up when people decided to take the parts of the bible they liked and worship those and discount those they did not like. Some religions are based solely on just one book of the bible.
But there is only ONE God.
