Microsoft asked me if I wanted to download Explorer 7 and I thought it would be good to have the lastest one. However, I hate it. How can I go back to what I had before?

Give it a chance. You will begin to slowly like it.

Added to which the older browser doesn't have all the security systems in place compared to the latest Microsoft browser.

Better yet though... use Firefox, and just keep IE as a way to access Microsoft's website for operating system updates.

You can either go to the control panel under Add Remove Programs and uninstall it, or you can go back and do a system restore and it will remove the update. Your system restore should list the upgrade, so it will be easy to locate.

IE 7 rocks!!! The new features make it so much easier to go between two different web apps. Give yourself some time to get used to it and don't trust anything that isn't made by Microsoft.

You only need to do a search on here to see how many people are having problems with IE7. The best thing to do is download Mozilla Firefox available from http://www.mozilla.com/ Its faster, more user friendly, easily customisable to suit your needs and no problems.

I know, it's terrible!
Go to add/remove programs in the control panel and remove it that way. Your system will revert to the old IE automatically.
