I love my socks.

Seriously... I've got about 500 pairs. 250 pairs I bought in the C&A closing down sale.

However my socks also have to be a pretty exact mix of fibre, as otherwise they make my feet cold quickly. I don't have the exact info on the mix atm... something like 90% cotton, 5% nylon, 5% polyester.

My suggestion would be to consider finding the best mix of fibre for socks for your feet. Quality socks support your feet.

I am like you - the problem is very probably poor circulation. I am sure there are a number of things we can do (ranging from exercises to herbal supplements to pharmaceuticals) but at the age of 40 I still have not found it a bother enough to do anything about it. If I wanted to do something about it, the first thing I would do would be to go to Yoga Journal and look up some yoga poses on their pose finder.

Yah lots of people have cold feet. Heat is always escaping your feet, leaving them very cold. A good way to stop that is wearing heavy socks or slippers.

It could be poor circulation in your legs/feet. If your calves/ankles/toes are nearly hairless, that's another sign of poor circulation.

Stand up straight, bend over and take your finger and press really hard on the top of your foot. When you remove your finger, you should see a finger print on your foot that's white. Does it take a long time for your foot to turn pink/flesh colored again? If so, that's also a sign of poor circulation.

Hi, I'm having the same problem. I talked to my doctor and he said that the reason could be in my low blood pressure, another reason could be the volume of blood that reaches my feet and in order to improve it, he reccomended me to do a lot of sports, he said I should always be in motion, even small walks help:) He also said this is not dangerous and nothing to worry about.
Something else that helps mea lot (besides the big, fat socks) is that I bought a special lotion for feet and my sweet husband masages them before we go to bed:) of course you can always do that by yourself too:) Good luck!!!

Mine are always cold too. It doesn't bother me so much in the summer - but now that's it's cold weather - I have to have something on my feet to keep me warm.

Yeah, all the time. I wear these really thick, fluffy socks but they still don't keep my warm. I can't wear slippers cos they make my feet stink & my hubby makes fun of me, so i've stopped wearing them & have to put up with having cold feet all the time, Boo, Hoo.

You may have Raynauds Phenomenon. Its a circulatory disorder that's generally not a big concern affecting hands & feet - mostly in women. WebMD will have some info for you. My Dr. says to wear socks & gloves.
