Since christmas is there and after it, it will be New Year 2007 so it is true that to get rid of your bad habits is to make a new year's resolution, does this resolution help u a better person this coming year 2007?

No, if we wanted bad enough to be a better person we wouldn't wait til new years.

I think that many people start off the new year with a desire to be a better person and some do find that making a resolution helps. I quit smoking one year for New Years and it stuck beyond the year.

While in general I don't make resolutions, this year, I am compelled to make one - but instead of declaring a plan or statement, I think that I will just draw the picture in my mind of how I want life to feel and be in the new year and focus on that. My recent research seems to say that this will work a lot better and have broader, further reaching implications in my life and I am up for the experiment. Maybe you will join me?

Yes it is having a new years resolution is a good thing because if you have a really bad annoying habbit it would be good to have new years resolution and stop doning.
