If "white" people became Black/Asian for a week, what would they discover.....?

(I fully acknowledge that I am going to get some dumb *** redneck incestous racist posting a rant here, but that is to be expected from people who have trouble with literacy....)

I think they might discover the racism that all minorities still experience although many people seem to think racism has gone out with the '60s. I beg to differ.

Maybe they will be able to identify with some of the situations that most minorities have found themselves in by the hands of many White people. Perhaps they will feel to change any racial issues they might have unconsciously. But I think it might be an experience for them to see how the other half of people see things and receive treatment.

Quite honestly... a white person would not be able to hande it and they would think twice before saying that they experience racism and that it is ethnic minorities who are racist and not themselves...

I was pushing my son home in his pushchair one xmas eve, when a group of white men in a car leant out of the window and spat at us... this was in the UK.

If I go into a store, I always get followed by security guards despite dressing well and being well presented and articulate. I have no criminal record and am a full time student, but discrimination is an every day occurence and emerges in the most subtle of ways.

How many ethnic minorities get stopped whilst driving their cars as opposed to white people...?

What make you think they'd last a week, about 5 seconds is more like. One white guy on here said he'd been racially abused which i replied 'not a nice feeling is it?' which i got some thumbs down.

Probably that they suffer as much discrimination as black people do in UK, but then, no one pays any attention to that, do they, in case someone gets offended.

They would almost certainly suffer some at least mild hassle and at worst abuse.
