The integrity of the league needs to be restored.

The NBA has become a fashion show of wanna be thugs.

Stricter guidelines and restrictions need to be put in place regarding on and of the court behavior and player contracts.

Playing in the NBA is a privilege and it should be treated that way.

In a lot of ways the NBA is doing great. Sure the image has taken a hit because of the brawls but lets face it, this actually keeps a lot of fans interested. Also as long as the play continues to be good and a variety of great players keep playing then it should be fine. My opinion is that to make the NBAs image go up the teams in the East need to play at a higher level, consistently have been worse than the West besides like 2 teams. Last years Heat win really should not have happened, the Mavs, played BADLY not the Heat playing really well. These are only some of the ways that the NBA can get its good image back.

What exactly are you talking about? The NBA is financially on great footing. What old days? Like the ugly Pistons/Riley Knicks era? The Finals on tape delay in the '70s?

Hey, this era is not bad. It may not be the Magic-Bird era, but I'll take it over the '40s and '50s and even the much of the '90s. Watch the Suns...hell, I have watched a few Raps games and they have become fairly entertaining even. There are some good teams to watch out there.

Stop allowing players to skip early from high school(which they did) and nipping all the bad behavior in the bud when it happens.

Pay them all less money so that they apreciate their jobs.

They could require that all the players have a college degree in something that show they know how to think.

Just my 2 cents, don't spend it all in one place.

What the NBA needs to go back to is the players able to whine like before. Now their handing out technicals like its candy. But David Stern needs to leave as the commissioner. He doesnt know wut hes doing.
