Look at this logically, You know B is wrong because then to dinner is not a complete sentence , therefore no semicolon
That makes D incorrect as well
It is not wrong to use passive voice, so C is incorrect
Using parallel structure is NOT mandatory unless it was written as an assignment rule. so A is wrong.
That leaves E

There is no doubt that the sentence is written in the passive voice. That does not make it wrong in a grammatical sense but does make it a poor sentence.
