most companies employ people at higher than the minimum, you might pay a few pennies more for things but you won't be able to pin it on raising the minimum wage...the idea that it will raise prices substantially is just a theory, not fact

Minimum wage is primarily limited to theory. Yes, some grinches pay minimum wage, and people choose to take that pay for many reasons. Primarily employability.
The increase in price of goods is a guaranteed. Simple economics.

70% of states already legislate a wage higher than the fed govt and i dont here the people in those states crying.also there is no higher unemployment in those states.
