I have seen the movie sometimes on TV but never have caught it's ending, could someone please help me out? Merry Christmas to all!

my favorite movie of all time!
the Narrator (played by Ed Norton, realizes that Tyler Durden (played by Bradd Pitt) does not actually exist as a person but exists as the buried personality of the narrator. Durden is the person the NArrator always wanted to be.
The Durden personality has been planning Project Mayhem, a plan to blow up all the financial buildings and credit reporting buildings and take us all back to "zero".
The Narrator, now trying to stop what he didnt realize he was actually responsible for (confused yet??!) attempts to overcome the Durden personality, which he does, but alas, it is too late and the buildings come crashing down the the music of "Where is my Mind" by the Pixies.

In the book, the narrator actually ends up in a mental institution and tyler doesn't succeed in blowing up the buildings. In the movie, I understood it to be that tyler was successful with the plan. I don't think the narrator gets arrested tho.

Where is My Mind by the Pixies was playing. It was definitely a good ending to that movie.

i really hope no one tells you. the ending is awesome and you should rent the movie and watch the whole thing.
