You certainly could be pregnant. If you want to take an early test, here's the comparison chart for different brands of EPT and how sensitive they are. If you choose a sensitive brand (First Response, Clear Blue Easy, etc), you can get the results sooner. I tested 5 days before my period was due and got a very faint line. I was pregnant which the doctor confirmed with a blood test the next day. Good luck!

The few days before ovulation is the BEST time to get pregnant. My husband and I had been trying for months to get pregnant, and that's what my doctor told me (specifically, to start having sex at least every other day at least a week before I *thought* I was about to ovulate). From what I've read, having sex after you ovulate is usually too late.

Unfortunately, now the real waiting begins for you! Home pregnancy tests usually won't show you're pregnant until 2 weeks after ovulation (although some have tested positive earlier than that, I tested negative 14 DPO and positive 19 days past ovulation). Blood tests can be positive a week after ovulation. Believe me, I know how frustrating it is waiting! But when I got that negative result I was pretty bummed, even though I knew that it might be too early for me (my menstrual cycle was always on the long side), so I'd recommend waiting as long as you can before testing. Set a date 4 days (or whatever) after you expect your period to come, and don't test till then.

We're TTC, and that i went to talk to a fertility specialist on Monday. She instructed that the great day to take a look at used to be 2 days before ovulation, followed with the aid of at some point earlier than ovulation, and not to wait except ovulation. Her advice was once to have intercourse every two days, but when we would do it twice in a row, to target two days earlier than and the day before, then every different day. It seems that, if the sperm is to be had the second the egg is competent you may have a greater danger than in case you wait a few hours after ovulation.

yes you could be pregnant .. sperm does not die right away they live for a few days so it is possible that your are pregnant.. good luck I know it is crazy waiting and not knowing if you are or aren't just enjoy the holidays and try as much as possible to not think about it ... when you are hung up on getting pregnant and won't think about anything else you just drive your self crazy and have a hard time getting pregnant I know of alot of people who had troubles getting pregnant and as soon as they stopped trying and relaxed they got pregnant ...!!! and how many times do you hear about people adopting because they can't get pregnant and then after they have adopted they get pregnant! anyways I know easier said then done.. good luck took me almost a year to finally get pregnant with my son every month I was freaking out am I pregnant? am I pregnant? and finally on valentine's day we conceived:) and now we have a beautiful healthy 14month old baby boy

I had intercourse with my husband 4 days before ovulation. I had a healthy baby girl 9 months later so my answer would be yes. Sperm can live 4-5 days so you would have a pretty good chance. Good luck.

Sperm can live up to a week. therse an excellent chance you're pregnant.

You wouldnt get pregnant two days before you ovulate of course, since ovulation is the act of releasing and egg where there was none before.
